You bring too much to mind, dear Thief!

1) How funny you mention "The Good Ship Lollipop" I'm told I used to drive my big sister nuts chanting 'I'm Shirley Temple' over and over.

2) Finding that photo again, I was fascinated to see echoes of my face in childhood pics of my Mom as well as in some of my granddaughters. Pretty wonderful!

3) I may well have burst into song. We had just moved from Iowa to a tiny hamlet in northern Alberta Canada (Dad was a pastor.) I loved that new green velvet dress Mom had made for me - and there were new worlds to conquer!
