For me, the “double edged sword of perfection” is that of LOVE - perfect, Divine Love, edged in both mercy and justice and tempered in truth. A mystery and a challenge for those who seek to better reflect that love in our lives.

I fear that for many who use the name Christian, (and other faiths as well,) their book is the two edged sword wielding neither mercy nor respect and without love’s true justice.
